Enduring Powers of Attorney are a very useful instrument to allow those appointed to access monies and other assets belonging to a client who is unwell or unable to look after their affairs.

In the event the donor is mentally incapacitated, an application to the Public Guardianship Office will need to be made to allow access to that persons assets. We can help with advice and completion of the forms as well as assistance with obtaining the receivership order.
